This new tangkula 5-piece dining table and chairs set vintage retro wood top with metal frame and padded seats was perfect for Grandma. We have done a lot of purchasing for her as we moved her close. The size of the table is perfect and very accurate. I put it together myself then transported it to her just the other day in the back of my SUV.It was very easy to install, the directions were simple, but I did have to put my reading glasses on, sucks to be getting older, all you need is one Allen and I used an electric screw gun.The wood-look top is not real, but you cannot tell, and I think for her is better, easier to clean and take care of. The table and chares are really beautiful in her new little condo and make the place of modern décor that we have been trying to get to with her. (starting over fresh) feels good, she love the size and uses it every day and has the grand kiddos over for lunches just perfect.As I said I actually put it together myself and it is very durable material using steel tubes, mdf boards with wood-look top keeps the table durable and sturdy. I am 200 lbs and it was just fine for me as I sat on every chair. With the pads under the table legs and chairs no worry about scratching if you have a wood or vinal floor. And the Seats were even padded enough for me.Could not be happier with this purchase and brand.It's easy to assemble I gave 3 stars because the tool to use is so small and I have big hands. Ended up with sore hands afterwards other than that everything is good.When I received the kitchen set, there were missing chair parts and no hardware. The seller did give a credit for the missing hardware but only sent out one of the missing chair parts out of four.The set is cute but the chairs are very rigid and uncomfortable. It's great for apartments and small areas. If I had to do it again, I would rather have a set made out of wood because metal is too rigid.Assembling the chairs was a delicate operation. Do not over tighten the screws that attach the cross member bars to the legs of the chair. There are plastic inserts inside the cross member bars that accept the screws. And if you over tighten the screws, the plastic inserts will crack, and tightening will not occur. That happened to me with two of the four chairs. I wrapped electrical tape around the leg where the screw was inserted to hold the screw in place. So far so good. The table and chairs sit firmly in my kitchen, without wobble or unbalance. Love the retro look. A prefect fit for my small kitchen space. And the chairs are comfortable to sit on, even for extended periods of time. EnjoyI live in a small apt. and there is a small carved out area near the kitchen where this table set fits beautifully. Didn't notice upon purchasing it how well this goes with my coffee table and the rest of my Decor. Happy to have purchased this item. It arrived before the time it said, which is always a plus. Unfortunately, I can't really comment on putting it together because my friend and her husband came over and he did this work, so I just made dinner for us and made an evening of it.Adds cute style to a small kitchen!We bought this set for my granddaughter’s first apartment and it fit great in her small apartment. It is very sturdy, has a nice look to it and just large enough for four people to sit down and have dinner. She is excited and happy to have her dinette set and it didn’t cost me that much. It was a great purchase.I like the table and chairs and the set fits just fine in a small kitchen which is what was intended when I ordered it.
